Camp Parks U.S. Army Reserve
Parks Reserve Forces Training Center, formerly known as Camp Parks, is a mobilization and training center for the United States Army Reserve. Built during World War II, the facility was originally home to the Navy Seabees. Operation continued throughout the Cold War when the facility was transitioned into a Basic Training center. During the 1970′s, the base became what it is currently, specifically for the Army Reserves. There are state-of the-art training facilities, and more are in the works. There are classrooms, housing, dining, a history center and other aspects to Camp Park.
